Reperio holds direct contracts with select Blue Cross Blue Shield plans and participates in the BlueCard program, enabling access for Blue members nationwide.

BlueCard is a national program that connects all Blue Cross Blue Shield plans (see this explanation from BCBS IL).

Because Reperio is contracted with BCBS plans, we can serve members from other Blue plans across the country. Claims are submitted through our local BCBS partner and routed to the member’s home plan, which processes the claim based on that member’s specific benefits.

Self-funded plans are governed by federal ERISA, so coverage is determined by the BCBS plan acting as the administrator (TPA), not where employees live.
